At first it smelled like water, then after it acquired a scent, the scent was not of dishwater, not was it of wet dog, hamster cages, horse stable, cow pasture or a lawyer’s office. It landed on a lightly removed tropical fruit: ie the breath of a pineapple can, the outside of a bag full of peaches.
