The nose fills the bowl of the glass with d'Anjou pear, yellow apple, and flirts with quince aromas. The attack is round and silky, with orchard fruit anchored in moderate acidity and, there is just a touch of minerality and lemon zest showing through—like the edge of a slip—along with this wine's granitic and limestone origins. A nice effort. 8.9 Points
