Dark hay gold in color, almost like a centime wine. White flowers, clay, and melon on the nose - a really unique bouquet. Starts smooth with hints of cucumber and wet clay that quickly give way to strong--almost overbearing--Granny Smith apple-laced acidity by mid. The finish is dominated by the acidity with hay overtones. Overall a quirky wine that stumbles a bit at the end, but worth a revisit, especially in summer.
