Sipping Fine Wine

Chapoutier family dates back to the early 19th century when current owner Michel Chapoutier’s great-, great-, great-grandfather Marius purchased estate and some vineyards in the now famous village of Tain l’Hermitage in Northern Rhône Valley. Ripe red berry fruit aromas. On the palate, this wine displays cherry and blackberry fruit with earthy notes, and a bit of crushed rock. Tannins are soft and savory, good balance, ending with a lingering mineral finish. Nice!
