Elegant. Nuanced just-ripe cherry, cranberry rose petal nose, and sumptuous bright but ripe red fruit and licorice on the palate. Body is beguiling, texture is so rich.

Tart but juicy red fruit, fallen leaves, clove and granite. Finish is just a touch funky and volatile. Great acidity and low but grippy tannins. Felt bit lighter than some other recent vintages. Not the bottle I would pick to introduce someone to this important producer, but still an excellent wine. 🍓🍂🐎

Medium purple hue, almost transparent but not quite. Some visible residual sugar/sediemnt on the glass. The nose is packed with ripe cherry, strawberry, raspberry, some tertiary soil and earthy scents. A delight on the pallet with perfectly ripe red berries; followed by dried mushroom, earthy minerals, and an intense acidic finish. This is ultra smooth, light bodied, dry and fully acidic. It has harmonious mouthfeel however, with complex highs and lows, which are truly captivating.

Must say this is, absolutely, the best Beaujolais I’ve ever tasted. Paired with pan seared Alaskan Halibut on a butter habanero sauce. Follow on IG@ermitan.iv for more. Cheers.

For some reason this is not quite singing at the same level as I remembered or expected. Still a very nice wine but lacking that extra bit of complexity and depth that I was hoping for.

Potpourri on the noise. Cherry, cranberries, long finish.

17+. I wish were at a zinc in Paris drinking this. Great nose and fruit, hugely satisfying.

Had with Camembert and then with grilled fresh salmon. Was quite excellent.
