2014 vintage. 41 Petit Verdot 27 Malbec 19 Cab Sauv 10 Cab Franc 2 Carménère 1 Merlot. Prefer it with a little chill, as it shows more structure and darker fruit profile. At room temp, jammy red fruits and overt toasted oak dominate the profile. Cooler: black currant, blackberry, black fig, mulberry, toasted coconut, almond skin, walnut, nutmeg, black rocks, dried violets, tobacco. Pretty good complexity at the right temp, though overly confected if too warm.

2014 Vintage just released. Decanted for about an hour. OMG this blend is stellar! 41 Petite Verdot 28 Malbec 19 Cab Sauv 10 Cab Franc 2 Carmenere. Hits all the right dark berry and cassis notes with velvety tannins and a long finish. Poured it at a tarting tonight. It paired equally well with Cambozola cheese and dark chocolate. The crowd went wild!
