This is tasting great already! I couldn't help myself and had to open. Pepper, raspberry, light tannins, and plenty of nice earthy undertones. This vintage is going to age well if you can keep it in the cellar! Thanks Matt K!!

Very impressed by this new project w Gavin Chanin as winemaker. Easily best out of a blind tasting of 15 new release Sonoma Pinots we did the other day.

Definitely need a moment to catch his breath. It opened up the chewy and savory fruit and wonderful structure, but it actually faded pretty quickly, after an hour the wine started to lose of its life and all of those flavors sort of simmer down into just a good ripe round juicy Pinot. But for about 45 minutes there there’s a window where this wine was absolutely delicious.

Easy to enjoy this one. Too bad this producer is gone. Tart raspberries with some dusty notes. Nice acidity. Opened up after some time in the glass.

Medium body with good acidity; tart cherry, plum, blackberry with some minerality. I’m a big fan of Gap’s Crown pinots.

Feels fairly advanced for a 2014. Funny little vanilla note in the middle that resolved with air and food. Very nice after that.

Bright and bubbly - gonna let this case rest in the cellar for a while.
