Lots of prune one the nose and some fresh wood. I get a thyme herbaceous thing upfront. Quickly fades into a syrupy body with this light aftertaste. Medium heat finish.

Softer than expected! Really lovely and round, with blueberry skins, jammy plum notes, and enough tannins to prop it all up. Surprisingly appealing and easy to drink.

Not bad for a random wine store pick. Drinkable right out of the bottle. Balanced. A nice $14 bottle to bring to family dinners etc., will buy again.
