N: Roses, tar, eucalyptus, mint, pepper, Red flowers and fruits.
P:Bracing acidity, prickly, med-light body,( are we sure this isn’t Nebbiolo?)
Cherries, Very much like a cross between Nebbiolo, Pinot Noir, and Sangiovese. I think I’ve said that before.
Black raspberry fruit, fine tannins, a med finish.!
As it sits in the glass, tobacco rears it’s head. The body fleshes out a bit. Acidity recedes.

N:Roses, Cherries, tar, some blood. One might think they’re in Italy. Toss it up, is that Tuscany or Piedmonte? Nope, it’s Beira Atlantico, Portugal. It’s a bit dirty.
P: Bright acidity, light texture, cherries, earth, oranges, herbs. Decent length.
Great stuff! Thanks to Max.

part of the monthly threesome from
cheers.co.il wine club.
wines i didn't pick but are supposedly choosed according to my taste.
i let my son cover them in tinfoil then i open and try to guess.
this one is a north Portuguese white blend made from three indigenous varieties :
bical, cercial and sercialinho
12.5% abv
medium + to full body with mostly citrus variety and hinted stone fruit.
it's power and lack of tropics made me guess it's 🇫🇷 sauvignon blanc. but its so sharp i was thinking chablis is another option.
it's so balanced i thought maybe some oak sorted it all out.
i was confused but impressed.
impressive punch all in all.
paired well with medicore Asian take away of sushi, pad thai and plain white rice.
great vfm (around 100 nis)
