An intriguing price point blend of baga and touriga nacaional cultivars. Exceeded my expectations: could prove to be a regular guest at the table.

First sniff smelled like plastic-soap, but that gave way to brown sugar-cherry-leather layers. Front palate really sharp acidity of ruby grapefruit, underripe strawberry, with a mid palate of leather, smoke, cherry fruit leather, and a little green pepper/herbal quality with a hint of pencil lead on a relatively short finish.

Dark red cherries/ plums on the nose. Some menthol and tobacco. Nice acidity/tannin. Good for lots of different foods, meats/ pastas- milder cheeses, goat/feta
