A nice Rioja, typical earthiness. On the lighter side, but some grippy tannins. Costco killer value. Not sure about those 94 points. Maybe with more air.

Black cherry and raspberry on the nose with some light cedar wood, subtle herbs, a hint of mint, and wet earthy stone. The wine is a glossy medium-ruby color with slight garnet on the rim. Same fruit on the palate with a bit of peppery spice but light overall. Medium-high acidity. Only medium tannin. Quick and uninspiring finish. This is light and juicy for a tempranillo. Almost seems like either garnacha or sangiovese was blended in if I didn't know any better. A solid 89-90, but don't think this is worth the 94 WE rating.
