Needs to be open a while. Fairly ordinary at first. But after 45 minutes or so open really improved. Once the food came and a bit of salt mellowed the tannins, and it had been open an hour it was greatly improved.

Drinkable after it is allowed to open. Quite juicy initially, however finished slightly peppery. Pairs well with a nice medium rare steak.
