Monster Barbaresco, perhaps with heavy oak aging influence (?).... but after 8 years, becoming more integrated. A crowd favorite, due to some ripeness and rich red fruit and leather notes... this is not your feminine subtle Barbaresco.

Classic Barbaresco. violets and red fruit. Drank like it was just released. This is a wine for the LONG haul.

This is a baby. A winemaker/scientist called it reductive and volatile... I completely disagree. RIPPIN tannin, classic nebbiolo, high toned fruit, anise, tannins integrated in 20 minutes. This wine is a beast and with proper storage it will live an extremely long life. 2nd 07 in a few weeks. Polar opposites. This was good, that was great.

Very addictive and unique Nebbiolo aroma. Still retains lot of youthful tannins. Traditional and enlightened winemaking at best. Outstanding.
