Really good minerals, first thing. Aromatic, but limited, like really honeyed sprite. Smells almost like an aged spatlese. Looks lightweight but has a slightly heavier body than appears, like gasoline does. Don’t get this confused with petrol taste, but the weight has that alchemy. Unlike Riesling it has a bitter and spicy phenolic note at the end that seems to come with more southern whites. Middle weight in reality. Good heavy orchard fruit. I like fiano and I’m still learning it’s limits. Every once and awhile I find a great one, but I want to learn what the typicality is.
