Red colour with purple hints and a little white border, in the nose dark fruit and some spices. The taste is full bodied with lots off dark fruit , spices, very nice acids. A very long aftertaste with a very pleasant fruit taste. Nice to drink now or in a few years

Cooked ripe red fruits. Strong aromas of tar and smoke. Powerful body. Not really balanced alcohol. Need food, bloody strong tannins with good structure.

Given this bottle by Niels who we bumped into at Wine Concepts in Jo'burg. He absolutely gushed about his creation and I can see why. Nose is spice driven, dark fruit with hints of liquorice, plum and is that vanilla? Wonderful complex wine which I noticed was a bargain in the store. A great match to their Shiraz.
