Natural wine exists in Australia. And this is it. Anton van Klopper is the grower/winemaker - and his daughter is the Lucci (or Lucy, really) of the name - and the designer of the labels. The wine, you ask? A highly drinkable blend of fruit, earth, and freshness. Minimal SO2 additions, whole-cluster fermentation, no mucking around with added acidity or anything else. It's earthy, fruity, gluggable goodness. (Note: Anton knows his stuff. He graduted first in his class at the fancy Aussie Roseworthy wine school. He hates to admit this, but he did.)

Tremendous nose, cherries thyme, apples, so much to take in. Delicate and well balanced throughout.

Interesting however for me, the overwhelming tomato plant aroma was insurmountable.

So aromatic and fresh, unlike any Australian red wine I've ever tasted.

2015 vintage. So good. Light bodied, but stony, pavement notes in nose and red cherry finish with smooth acid.

WOW! The first Rose I've tasted from the Domaine Lucci/Lucy Margaux stable. Vibrant light red fruits with citrus peel (orange) and delicate steamy/herbal whole bunch nose. I would pour this wine as a summer aperitif at a white-tie event! Today it traversed a Kingfish sashimi with crushed peppers and Mandarin oil and sautéed wild Mushrooms, turnip purée and carrot marmalade. A wine of gravitas and folly! The balance and intensity matches seamlessly with the light spritzig minimal intervention style. An Aussie icon in a Rose style!
