Hit fire - new producer for me, but displays all of the desired characteristics of Trousseau. Will definitely be back again...and again...and again

Esoteric Jura by old-timer Lucien Aviet. Made with an ancient strain of of Chardonnay with brilliant red stalks unique to the Jura known as Melon a Queue Rouge or red-tailed Melon, the Arboisien name for Chardonnay. Aged in large old foudres for 18 months (no sign of oak though) with regular ouillage (topped-up), it is fresh, clean, precise, with tension and crushed-stone minerality, hints of kelp, salt and iodine, somewhat reminiscent of Chablis.

Great, light and trousseau beauty. A little acidic for Jura.

Gouda, salami, ripe cherries, cucumber skin

Light Jura, troussea grapes, a bit sweet, but the huge thanks to @Ben Hearns fpr picking it up...he's also really attractive
