The label says it’s a Cab. The taste, hue and structure says otherwise. The color is more like a Pinot Noir and the mouthfeel is similar to a red blend. On the palate, it’s a flavorful wine but better suited to pork, salmon, cheeses, than red or roasted meats. In a blind tasting, I would never believe this is a Cab. Since it was BOGO, it was a bargain but not at full price.
