Morgon Gamay

More Beaujolais with grandma. From Morgon, with an elegant nose of fresh red berries, a touch of banana, and a bit of leather. Very high acidity with moderate, fine tannin, medium body and solid minerality. Cranberry, raspberry, earthy notes, smoke, and a licorice sort of finish follow, though finish is generally short and clean. Really nice wine; glad to enjoy a Morgon at last.
