Purchased for my birthday-we share a birth year! And wholly dedicated to my grandfather who recently passed, and wanted to purchase this wine for me. The body is a clear, light ruby, with some bricking. The nose is very clean, pronounced and complex, bringing on notes of plum, raisin, blackberry, cherry, green pepper, mint, leather, and faint pipe tobacco. The palate has medium acidity, moderately integrated tannins, and flavours of cherry, plum, more pepper, herbs, and a finish of leather and olive.Brilliant wine! Drank 2017 — a year ago
More Beaujolais with grandma. From Morgon, with an elegant nose of fresh red berries, a touch of banana, and a bit of leather. Very high acidity with moderate, fine tannin, medium body and solid minerality. Cranberry, raspberry, earthy notes, smoke, and a licorice sort of finish follow, though finish is generally short and clean. Really nice wine; glad to enjoy a Morgon at last. — a year ago

Too sweet and fruity on the nose and palate, no real structure. Very rich fruit, leaning to prune, blackberry, jammy cassis. — a year ago
