Monte Rosso Vineyard Block Designate Cabernet Sauvignon

Deep Ruby with black fruit aromas, earthy herb scents and soft spice. On the palate sweet fruits, cherry and currants, with licorice, tobacco and cacao notes on fine tannins, nice balance. Medium+ finish ending with fruit and earthy oak, very nice and has some room for cellaring.

Enjoyed with dinner at friends. Pop and pour. Time in the glass allowed this one to get a little more interesting.

Soft subtle fruit forward right out of bottle. Caymus like.
