Chameroy Beaujolais-Villages Gamay

Great table wine. Funky french nose. High acid and huge berry. Silky barnyard finish. Dominating wild strawberry.

Terrible. Undrinkable sulfur bomb. Poured half bottle down drain.

For some reason I am into Beaujolais and I'm not disappointed. Two Morgons and now this light but full of Gamay fruitiness. Wonderful sitting by a fire and about to prepare grilled scalops

Two sips before I dumped it into the Dutch oven to make a beef Bourguignon, where it served a higher cause.

Can't beat Beaujouils for value - that time of year is right around the corner people!
