A hint of butterscotch on the palate together with oxidative notes and ripe grapefruit. Mature Chardonnay notes. Barb had a premier cru from Henri Boillot which I will try next.

Aug 20th, 20232013 vintage. Concentrated core of Anjou pear w/ prominent limestone--seems to be a significant amount of oak (oh--it's 100% new! What?!) which takes a bit away from the purity--perhaps a way to add more to a mediocre vintage.

Apr 6th, 2015In good shape for sure. Aromatically a touch muted but this is excellent. Deep and mouth filling with great fat honeyed quality with a long finish with great acid. Truly perfect pairing with a brillat savarin cheese.
