Louis Jadot
Les Narbantons Savigny-lès-Beaune 1er Cru Pinot Noir
Much nicer than the last bottle had about 8 months ago. Opened 9 hours before having but didn’t decant. In general becoming skeptical of decanting versus the ”slow ox”. Lots of cherry and earth, good acid, finish holds together nicely, great pairing with a simple roast chicken with mushrooms finished in the chicken fat.

Sep 5th, 2022Nice but not overly remarkable. Decanted 4 hours which helped, will be good to try in a couple years. For <$30 not a bad value at all but doesn’t wow.

Dec 26th, 2021Here we go again last tasted in Feb 18 - a good wine 🍷 but not stellar. Dark cherry, chalk, touch of cardamom- plenty tannins left. Really needs a lot of air to mellow out. I would not keep it as the complexity is limited.

Apr 26th, 2018Strawberry nose. Tart very pleasant easy drinking wine. Not build to age drink now or in a couple of years - Rasberries? Surprisingly good! This is a bargain for Burgundy and a good vintage!
