Domaine Gagey Echezeaux Grand Cru Pinot Noir

Medium ruby - some real color here to match an intense aroma of red currant, violet, red apple skin, raspberry and red cherry, with and under-pinning of forest floor and a bit of rustic leather ands cedar developing. Not as elegant as the Charmes-Chambertin but it has a unique power of its own. Long finish, very appealing and drinking very well.
