Great vintage for this wine. Many years ahead but showing well.

Still showing a lot of wood but pretty darn good!

does have the exuberance i would expect from a 2002. still tannic and drying at that. in a weird place.

Juicy, crunchy, quite good.

The back of the head of the incredible, Frederic Barnier, discussing this amazing wine. So much tertiary enjoyment: soy, dried chanterelle, hint of pine, pumice, strawberry tops, and a finish that makes you happy to just be.

2002 - early drinking window, not much secondary development yet. Full 2002 lush profile, meaty, black fruit. Pop n pour.

Really mellow. Can savor now

Great little wine... A bit reductive upon opening but it blew off with some air. Great structure, lovely fruit, solid finish. Lots of life left in this gem.

At Bacchanal. Beautiful aromatics. Totally lovely.
