Sweetness subsided some, smokey strawberry/raspberry makes a glorious nose appearance, heck yes! Palate conveys the feeling of eating a very ripe plum, tasty!

Lovely wine, soon to be paired with a beautiful slab of steelhead trout.
Wow, even better than the last bottle, swear this is a baby Côte de Beaune...At $23 (fish cost more than the bottle) this cannot be overtaken, quality delivers!

It's been about 4 months since we last opened this bottle...so time for a check in.
Hitting the decanter, is like wow, very fragrant now, you can detect the nose from about 2 ft away. First impressions, tart red fruits with an interesting smokey aroma, the palate is jammed with strawberry and cranberry... Looking forward to seeing how this develops tonight, seems like it's moving into a great drinking window for a young wine. The smokey nose aspect is really keeping me coming back, interesting, I hope it doesn't blow off.

Decanted and aerated. Deep inky color. Big bouquet of dusty dark fruit and muted sour cherries . Soft and velvety at the initial taste. Quick middle of muted flavors. Then fades to a very bone dry dry finish.
