Citrus, lemon zest, mineral character, matchstick, no overt signs of oak, but a little too reductive for me

Nov 14th, 2017This is actually Jacques Carillon Chassagne-Montrachet 2015. The classic Carillon rich and supple nose is there along with the racy acidity and creamy lemon. There is a small cloying hint of honeysuckle, may be a reason this was downgraded from 1er Cru (or blended cross-vineyard). Still quite drinkable and a good price.
