Wow this is really a miss it’s 12 years old maybe it wasn’t stored well but prunes aldehydes smoke really unpleasant

Tired but tasty.

Medium-deep ruby-purple color.
Aromas of raspberry, blackberry, blackberry jelly candy, vanilla, spice.
Dry. Flavors of blackberry compote, cassis, blueberry compote, tar, licorice. Medium-rich, chewy tannins.

Aight bet

Took a moment to open up. Then ran through a gamut of fruit (primarily prune), then faded to more smoky and full. Good entry, good middle, but a short finish.
