The initial aroma from this high altitude single vineyard was lovely with red cherry, cassis, incense, and lightly oaked vanilla. But it turned to almost musty barnyard after 30 minutes that persisted, though subsided quite a bit afterwards. Palate is lively, with medium acidity and nice tannins structure, finished off with spicy and slightly minty note. Overall a very nice cab.
