What a wonderful surprise pulled from the cellar. Blackberry, purple beet juice, violets, lavender, black olive, exotic and long finish.

Scent of blackberries and very oaky, deep red color, full bodied and fruity, smooth with lasting finish. Long fellow never disappoints.

Very nice open. Excellent bouquet but a bit muted in the mouth. Should have let it decant longer. Still, very good and enjoyable at the BBQ.
