Chalky, earthy dust mingled with loganberry, black raspberry, and thyme. Extracted, but avoids jamminess. A well constructed wine best used for full-flavored meats or cruciferous veggies.

I’ve never had an aged Sequel, fascinating to see where the end up. After 45 min this turned into a lovely glass of dark fruits - blackberries and spice. Beautiful opaque - I guess nearing the end of its best window but no rush.

Shows a different exciting potential for Washington Syrah - great balance - rather than the exceptional power that its most celebrated syrahs are known for
