If you don't appreciate the difference botrytis can make, this is instructive. This is much further from a sweet riesling than a sweet riesling is from a dry one. Dark amber color, apricot nose. Not something for everyday but a nice alternative to a port or sherry.

Been saving this for years, perfect with funky blue cheese and dried fruits.

Well-balanced, slightly spicy and multi-dimensional. Goes well with sautéed Chinese food (chicken/veggie) as the wine cuts through the oiliness while complimenting the food with a rounded Riesling yumminess. This would be amazing with mild Pad Thai or Pineapple Fried Rice?
