Finally getting to try some of this beautiful juice! Picked some up in Arlington, VA whilst I visit some family in the area. Produced by Duckhorn, and a fantastic value. Very aromatic, throwing loads of dried strawberry, cranberry, dried herbs, and leather undertones. The pallet is very bright and full of color (14.5% alcohol). Very powerful fruit for a Pinot, but not unpleasant, exhibiting notes of strawberry cream, raspberry, raisin, white pepper, and a spicy, lingering finish. They make a darn tasty Pinot in Anderson Valley! Not really anything near Burgundian in style, but a style specifically for Anderson Valley. This is outstanding for $36. If you need a Pinot for hard weekdays, this is it. Bright, spicy and luscious.

Vivid Ruby with red berry aromas and noticeable integrated floral spice. The palate put forth flavors of plum, cherry, raspberry, and pungent earthy spice adding some cinnamon notes. Lively acidity, well balanced, soft tannins lingering with some minerality.

Slightly better than 6 months ago...still underwhelming and not worth the price.
Light raspberry, tart cranberry, and subtle spice.

Light to medium body. Bright acidity. Strawberry, cranberry, and a touch of spice.

Not sure if it's an off bottle but this is underwhelming. Drink em if ya got em.

A stunner at $35/bottle. Anderson Valley never disappoints.

An enjoyable mid-week bottle. Light. Fruity: strawberries and plum. With spice and leather undertones.
