2012 opened January 2017. A pleasant drinkable wine. Very similar to the South African Pintage varietals in its taste profile. Under-ripened fruit--cherries and raspberries in the bouquet. Restrained taste of cherries, and a light acidity on the front pallet. Soft tannins on the top of the pallet, with a slight zing on the finish. very drinkable now. I don't know how well it will age, though, because I don't have enough experience with Pinotage as it matures, .but this is remarkably pleasant without being memorable.
