Aged 12 Years Single Malt Scotch Whiskey

Mild peat. Not complex, but no bad at all. Moderate spice on the finish. This distillery seems to deliver a decent product on the lower end of the single malt scotch price spectrum.

I just don’t care for it. Feels like a whisky that’s trying really hard to be several interesting things at once, but ends up not doing any of them particularly well. A little smoky, a little funky, a little fruity, a little oaky, a little sweet. You want it to just pick a direction and go for it. No thanks.

12 year old Loch Lomond. Smokey and not so smooth. It's got a spicy kick. Doesn't mean it's not another excellent Scottish whisky.
