Locations Wine
TX Red Blend
Dried rose petals and crushed white rocks if I'm being really generous. The oak influence comes off like old wood paneling, dusty and moldy. If you weren't paying attention the polished texture and adequate structure might distract you from the fact it is completely devoid of anything resembling flavor. Phinney's smoke and mirrors can only go so far.... the prisoner has no clothes.

Lots of rose pedal. Tannic and alkali. Absolutely NOT worth $27/bottle.

Aug 6th, 2016Another great "location" blend. Still love CA and E more, but this is very nice. Lighter, more of a Pinot style. Bright fruits - strawberries, raspberries and tart cherries.
