TX Red Blend

Dried rose petals and crushed white rocks if I'm being really generous. The oak influence comes off like old wood paneling, dusty and moldy. If you weren't paying attention the polished texture and adequate structure might distract you from the fact it is completely devoid of anything resembling flavor. Phinney's smoke and mirrors can only go so far.... the prisoner has no clothes.

Still a baby...

Solid effort. Fairly light for a alcohol of 15.5%. Red licorice and berries with very soft tannins.

Not bad. Enjoyed the bottle. 9/18.

Hints of red cherries and raspberries. 100% Texas grapes.

This was ok. There's a lot that I like better.

Another home run for the Locations series. Great acidity and bright red fruit.

Lots of rose pedal. Tannic and alkali. Absolutely NOT worth $27/bottle.

Another great "location" blend. Still love CA and E more, but this is very nice. Lighter, more of a Pinot style. Bright fruits - strawberries, raspberries and tart cherries.

We devoured this. Great body and structure
