This is the second edition of the "F" standing for France, consisting of grenache and syrah, and bordeaux varietals as well, which is odd, but not unheard of. I was fairly underwhelmed by this wine. Not a whole lot to the nose other than pomm/cran juice and black pepper. The pallet was also hollow and lacking depth, soft tannin structure, with notes of creme-de-casis and wild cherry. The finish was again, lost to the wind. I'd rather purchase an equal priced Rhone wine, but we all have our preferences.
