My first experience with a Phinney white and it was very good. Depth, good balance and a proper amount of acidity.

2013. 100% Vermentino. Mineral-driven w/a distinctive honeysuckle note. Very nice.

This wine is good, don't get me wrong. However, like most wines from this winemaker, it is not indicative of the region at all. Lacking in the salinity and acidity that makes this region wonderful, this wine is loaded with lush fruit...key lime pie, dried apricots and jasmine.

NV Locations Corsican White Wine by Dave Phinney. Gala apple, peach/stone fruit flavors with some vanilla oakiness and steel-y minerality, crushed limestone chalkiness. Very delicious vermentino.

Rubber. The plastic clay nose ruined the rest of the wine. Just not for me.

Bold for the grape, great with Brussels and chicken thighs. Texture and acid. I have to say the label is killer
