Ruby red with a slight tilt towards brick red. Aromas of milk chocolate, cherries, plums, and English breakfast tea. The tannin is pretty quiet. There's flavors of tart cherries, unripened cranberries or small bush berries, chocolate and vanill. Finishes like some Starbucks plum-vanilla-mocha concoction that you can't stop drinking.

May 22nd, 2017Light and good multitude of flavors, slightly sweet and not too acidic at all. Would be a good Meritage for a beginner or even the more experienced who also wish for a taste of the local Texas flavor.

Oct 22nd, 2014Another different Texas wine. A dark fruity aroma, not a very distinctive taste. No after taste and not too sweet not my fav but not too bad
