A few fun 4th Friday wines from tonight.
A Cali spin on burgundy. I’m assuming some whole cluster usage here as it’s a bit green/stemmy on the nose. Spicy in the sense of rhubarb and cracked peppercorn. Some smoked meats as well. On the palate, it’s very light...green pepper, underripe black-cherries, herbal, and dirt covered mulch. I’d consider popping these soon.

Russian River fruit allright.... great cherries, dark berry, spices and cola on the end. Wowsers this is good wine by Littorai. Seek it out if you can find it.
