Fairly typical anonymous southern French rosé. Maybe a bit more honeyed & sweet up front, although that disappears rapidly. Fine for hot days by the pool, picnics, afternoon on the porch, etc. Wouldn't pair it with a special meal.

This rosé & I have history. My first drinkable wine when I came to sub-Saharan Africa--helps to hold your breath. :] Laid back supermarché wine of beach-grown Granache Gris. Supple fresh strawberries & honey--reminiscent of Côtes de Provence. Introduced to me 2 years ago when Swedish friends/biz partners asked me to tag along on a 4-day Africa trip to help budding entrepreneurs. Those 4 days tuned into 2 years. Rewarding, but there are days I wish they'd asked me to tag along to the Maldives instead. ;)
