2nd wedding anniversary wine! Bought in our honeymoon in July of 2022 and saved for today! This in a has aged beautifully, with a nose that’s just starting to hint at age, but still pushes forward balance between fruit like black cherries, fresh plums and velvety notes of rose, and some musty mushroomy forest floor. The color is like deep, perfect rose, amazingly big flavor for being so low abv. The acidity is still there but definitely subsiding, and being replaced with some spicieness, dark cherry, hints of licorice, robitussen, rose water, fresh olive oil, even a bit of balsamic!
