A bit lean and firmly mineral, like iron filings. I has depth but seems sharp rather than generous. (I know generousness is not necessarily a trait or desired in PN)

At six years, still zingy and fresh. Sappy but lively cherry fruit, forest floor, a spice note, and a floaty sandalwood note. Electric acids in the mouth create the zingy palate impression, with intense and concentrated fruit. In my opinion, Mendocino PN’s usually aren’t the most complex, but they can have very direct, varietally correct, and satisfying Pinot fruit, and this fits the bill.

Wonderful, lively fragrance of sweet baking spice, zingy but ripe cherry, flowers, and crushed stone. Concentrated but focused and zippy in the mouth. Lots of tart cherry and crushed rock minerality. Excellent acidity. Seems like it’s got a few more years before it peaks.

Color of dark burgundy. Nose of seducing cherry jam, sweet grapes, lot of berries, wet mushroom and a bit cocoa. Taste of similar notes, with more flavones like zest, Sprite, and emphasis on strawberries. Aftertaste of spice and anise, a bit more zest and low on tannins. She is subtle and refined, enjoy her now.
