Eh, can’t give it raves, can’t say it’s not great. As a refreshing rosé with a friendly bite it’s a win: high acid, medium body, somewhere between tropical fruit punch (pineapple, guava) plus some berries and candied strawberries. It’s good but I’ve had better which perhaps why it was a Garagiste mystery selection. I’ve had some good mystery wines but this one...well not good for a wine asshole like me but good. Just boring.

Best U.S. rose I’ve had. Super fragrant and fresh. The minerally ripe strawberry/cherry fruit on the nose reminds of a good Sancerre rose, yet this is old vine Mendocino Carignane. On the palate it’s got gorgeously pure fruit and great freshness.

When looking for a refreshing and dry rose look no further. Aromas of pickled strawberry and watermelon rind bring you into a thoughtfully structured rose.

Chalk/slate on the nose. Tart and mineraly upfront with a nice strawberry lemonade finish. Also picked some slight basil hints.

Lovely Carignan Rosé from a mid-century planting of dry-farmed, head-pruned vines in township of Talmage..hand harvested & whole cluster pressed...( per label)!
Not having any experience with Carignan I have no comparison!

Light orange in color!
On the nose Watermelon..sour Jolly Ranchers..herbs and Kiwi.
Tastes of orange..nectarine...watermelon and minerals.
Presents with a medium body...served very slightly chilled. Paired with Basil infused Tuna salad...very nice!
First purchase from Wine Bid...I think if you keep wine prices moderate...you can find some great deals despite 17% mark-up!!
