This is such a dynamic site. 1600ft above the valley floor, Wente clone on AXR-1 rootstock planted in 1982. This has white Burgundy nods written all over it in opening it tonight on 6/20/2019. Cheers John & Kai!

French style Chardonnay from a mountain top vineyard in Mendocino. Great use of oak rounds out the sharp edges and gives the wine depth and spice without taking away from the brightness.

Very clean. Citrusy, lemony, floral up front and a crisp apple came through as the wine opened up. My kind of Chardonnay.
