Smooth, raspberry balanced flavour, light tannins and vanilla oak. Nice but feels a bit dialled back from where it should be.

Another lovely Coonawarra Cabernet. Regional cassis and blackberry flavours predominate on the front of the palate, with savoury black olive and meaty umami flavours on the back palate. Super fine tannins and a good acid balance. Those savours flavours lend the wine a nice complexity and a good length of finish. Still needs some bottle time to approach its best. A nice wine, but lacking that special x-factor I remember from earlier vintages.
