We’ve decanted two of our last four bottles of this fine wine: an Australian classic. Having enjoyed 20 bottles since we brought two dozen, over ten years ago, I can confidently say that it’s at its peak right now. A full fragrant nose prepares the palate for luscious, intense fruit with licorice flavours and a clean finish.

Australian classic! Still young at 14 years.

'96 still going strong. At least another decade in this.

Cassis and currant. Blackberry with leather and tobacco. Subdued tannins and soft texture.

Really travelling well. Fruit, oak, tannins and acid sitting in balance and lots of different notes coming through both on nose and palate.
