It starts sweet like almonds, marzipan or even lemon or passionfruit meringue, but then the freshness makes it close extremely dry like a dry sherry. Hunter semillon in that magic spot, even though there isn't too much complexity i must admit there is somehow a kind of balance.
Mind this is the third bottle of it I open and this has been the best one and still this wine might be past its peak in a week, it's hanging tight on to its decadent beauty.

Honey, oxidised apple, ginger and aniseed all decorating a bloody nice lemon meringue.
Won at auction for 15 bucks.
I have 2 more bottles, hopefully they aren't on the other side of the edge😬
