Lindeman's
Bin 45 Cabernet Sauvignon
Mild flavors of cherry, blackberry and maybe currant(I might be pushing it) soft tannins. Not my thing but again I can see why people like this.

Not a bad cab for the price. Good for frugal weeks. Goes down smooth, not too sweet.

Fruity nose of plums, cherries, licorice, blueberries, light oak, vanilla, light vegetables, earth, spices and peppercorn.
Medium in body with medium plus acidity and nice legs.
Dry and spicy on the palate with blackberries, black currants, plums, earth, light oak, vanilla, licorice, beef jerky, spices and black pepper.
Medium finish with soft tannins and tangy cranberries.
This Australian Cabernet is simple, yet enjoyable for every day. Shows a soft mouthfeel, but not very balanced. Not bad for a bulk wine, though.
Good with food or all by itself. Good right out of the bottle and better after 30 minutes of airtime, and slightly chilled.
I paired it with light appetizers.
13.5% alcohol by volume.

Deep purple in color with a pinkish rim.
Fruity nose of blueberries, cherries, licorice, light vanilla, wildflowers, a little barnyard, candy, metals, spices and peppercorn.
Medium bodied with medium acidity and nice legs.
Dry on the palate with plums, cranberries, red currants, oak, smoke, light vanilla, pine, spices, bitter vegetables and black pepper.
Short finish with soft tannins and tangy raspberries.
This is a nice Cabernet from Australia. Now, as a 2 year old, it is drinking nicely. Well balanced, simple and enjoyable by itself, and not offensive.
I paired it with cheeses and fruits.
Good for parties at a great price point. Good right out of the bottle, and gets a little more interesting after an hour in a decanter.

Dark ruby in color with a purplish rim.
Fruity on the nose with blueberries, sweet cherries, strawberries, red candy, metals, barnyard, light wood, light vanilla, licorice, spices and black pepper.
Medium-bodied with medium acidity and nice legs.
Dry and fruity on the palate with blueberries, cherries, plums, red currants, earth, vanilla, vegetables, graphite, beef jerky, chocolates, spices and peppercorn.
Medium finish with medium tannins and tart cherries.
This is an average Cabernet Sauvignon from Australia. Drinkable, simple, unbalanced with no complexity, but approachable with a nice mouthfeel.
Nothing special, but not bad for a bulk wine. Had it from a magnum (not that it matters in this case).
